Its early. Leake and the Reds will implode and will end up behind Howard and the Braves like always.![]()
Trailing 6-0, it looks like the Braves are on their way to their 8th loss in a row. I can't lie.. I LOVE IT!
And oh yeah, don't be handing out that ROY award to Heyward just yet. Mike Leake may have something to say about it before it's all said and done. After tonight's start, Leake is now 2-0 with a 3.25 ERA and 18 Ks in 27.2 innings pitched. This from a kid that SKIPPED THE MINORS after being drafted in the first round last season.
Also, he is 4 for 10 at the plate for a cool .400 batting average. Not bad for a pitcher.

It's early. But as a Braves fan, this is pretty sorry. Mental errors.
The Braves don't suck per say. They have a lot of talent. They're just not playing as a team.
Fudge......Heyward. I was reading about the Howard contract just before that.

Looks like I need to change the title of this post to 9 is Fine.
Bravos losing 8-1 to the Cards in the 5th.
Been a Cards fan since '68! They're off to a pretty good start this year.
PS. I hate the Braves too......

Central Warriors. Respect the past, embrace the future
Jurrjens going out in the first with an injury was like rubbing salt in the wound. The day off may have been a good thing for Heyward. 2-4 today with a leadoff homer in the 7th. Hopefully Houston is the medicine the Braves need.

1919, 1940, 1975, 1976, and 1990. How many times have the Braves won the World Series?
I firmly believe the abundance of Braves fans we've seen in this area over the last decade are slowly going to go away. They had their run and won one title. It will be a long, long time before you see the Braves like they once were. Keep laughing it up, Jason Heyward and Tommy Hanson don't make a team, especially when Cox and Chipper are at the end of their careers.
